Shining together for children who need it most.

The Promise of Light Foundation Advisory Circle is a group of passionate, mission-aligned leaders, professionals, and community members who use their voices, influence, and expertise to help Promise of Light grow.

While the Advisory Circle does not govern or manage day-to-day operations, its members are vital advocates and connectors, helping bring the mission into the hearts and minds of our community.

We believe that big change happens when people unite around a shared vision. The Advisory Circle exists to:

• Advocate for medically fragile children in foster care.
• Connect Promise of Light with resources, partners, and opportunities.
• Inspire others to get involved and support our mission.
• Strengthen our credibility and reach within the community.
   

We invite individuals who:

• Believe every child deserves safety, dignity, and hope.
• Are willing to use their personal and professional networks to further our mission.
• Represent diverse skills and backgrounds — from healthcare, law, business, and education to ministry, philanthropy, and community leadership.
• Can commit time, energy, and passion to making a tangible difference.
   

Advisory Circle members agree to:

• Attend quarterly meetings (in-person or virtual).
• Participate in at least one fundraising, advocacy, or community outreach effort per year.
• Serve as an ambassador for Promise of Light by sharing our story and mission within their circles.
• Offer insight, feedback, and expertise to strengthen our programs and strategies.
   

By joining the Advisory Circle, you become part of the founding legacy of Promise of Light. Your guidance and connections will help us:

• Launch our residential facility for up to 16 medically fragile children.
• Build sustainable funding and community support.
• Expand awareness of the urgent need for transitional care in Texas.
